This species is native to dry, sandy soils of the American southwest,
but is hardy to Zone 5. Light blue flowers appear in spring.
Where to Use: Sun; Grow in the Rock Garden or Troughs with very well-drained soil. The plant may be slow to start, but it eventually becomes a semi-shrubby plant with good fall colour. Hardy to Zone 4
